It is difficult to select raw materials, manufacture and post-processing of paper carrier tape base paper, which is mainly reflected in the following aspects:

① material selection – tape base paper requires strict control of conductive ion content, so it has high requirements for the cleanliness of wood pulp and the purity of common papermaking chemicals;

② Papermaking – it requires high base paper weight, uniform thickness, good interlayer bonding and high surface strength. Therefore, it requires high papermaking accuracy, drying capacity and surface finishing of production equipment;

③ Post processing – the base paper shall be waterproof, moisture-proof and antistatic, with high cutting and punching precision. Therefore, it has high requirements for the type and dosage of functional chemicals.
