For cover tape with high ESD, it is better to braid and seal the tape. The machine is the cpak used by Ismeca, ASM and carrier tape

For the cover tape we use, the ESD requirement is 10e6 ~ E9 at 12% RH. Therefore, this high ESD standard peaking force is a little difficult

Temperature: 155 ℃, sealing: 35 ~ 50ms

If you are a sensitive device, cover tape that does not meet the ESD Standard cannot be saved by sealing time.

Because you will be difficult to determine the functional relationship between materials, humidity, pressure, peeling speed and electrostatic voltage, and whether the electrostatic level of sensitive devices can withstand such electrostatic voltage will also be a difficult problem to confirm.

As a production unit, you will not have such professional equipment and technical support for such tests and verification. If you produce sensitive devices, you probably need to consider whether the covertape accepted under concession is suitable and can meet your ESD control requirements.
