PS conductive carrier tape refers to a strip commodity used in the packaging industry of electronic devices.

It has a special thickness. In its long and short directions, it is equidistant with main bones (also known as bags) for holding electronic components and accurate positioning holes for accurate positioning of database index. The carrier tape is mainly used in the industrial production of electronic component patch.

The mainstream products in the sales market are PC (polycarbonate) carrier tape, PS (polyrene, polyethylene) and ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene butadiene mixed epoxy resin).

In addition, it is also a carrier tape made of a small amount of pet, APET and other raw materials. The key of stamping die belt is the preparation of paper plate raw materials or PE polymer materials. The characteristics of PC raw materials are high impact toughness, good compatibility, good specification reliability, high glass transition temperature and good temperature resistance. The impact toughness of PS raw material is lower than that of PC raw material.

Therefore, it is sometimes made into three-layer composite plastic plate with ABS raw material to improve the tensile strength of the carrier belt. The impact toughness of PET raw material is close to PC, but because it is a crystalline material, the specification reliability is poor.
