Carrier tape design rule Scope: applicable to all carrier products

Design requirements:

1. Thickness of carrier belt (tolerance ± 0.02mm)

a. Product length / width is within 15.0mm, t = 0.35mm

b. Product length / width is within 15.0mm * 25.0mm, t = 0.35mm

c. Product length / width is within 25.1mm-30mm, t = 0.40mm

d. The product length is more than 30.1mm, t = 0.50mm

e. Special products are defined separately

2. Carrier tape design rule: Requirements for inner cavity of carrier belt

A. The long side of the product shape is set as the belt width to avoid acupoint deformation when carrying belt and material

B. The carrier belt is designed with convex hull according to the product requirements, and the gap between the convex hull and the product surface is 0-0.1mm. During machine adjustment, the carrier belt convex hull is opposite to the suction nozzle position of the machine. During adsorption, the product is on the carrier belt convex hull surface to prevent product deformation during production

C. The carrier belt shall be designed with bumps or stiffeners according to the needs of the product. The height of the bumps shall be between the top surface of the product and the top surface of the carrier belt. A gap of 1.5mm-3.0mm shall be placed between the length / width of the bumps and the product retaining wall

D. A gap of 0.1mm-0.2mm shall be placed between the bottom surface of the product and the bottom surface of the carrier belt to avoid interference with the carrier belt of the product

E. According to the length / width of the product, place a 0.2mm gap on one side in the carrier hole

F. All the planes in the length / width direction in the carrier hole are inclined planes, and the inclined plane and the bottom surface are about 95 degrees

G. When loading products, the carrier belt shall be led out clockwise, with round hole on the right and elliptical hole on the left

H. The top surface of the carrier belt shall be higher than the top surface of the product, and its height reference is as follows: Carrier tape design rule

a. The width of the carrier belt is between 12mm-24mm, H = 0.5mm

b. The width of the carrier belt is between 32mm-44mm, H = 0.8mm

c. The width of the carrier belt is 56mm, H = more than 1.2mm
