SMD carrier tape has a specific thickness, and holes (also known as pockets) for holding electronic components and positioning holes for index positioning are equally distributed in its length direction.

SMD carrier tape is mainly used in the electronic component mounting industry. It is used with tape or cover tape to carry and store a series of small electronic components such as resistors, capacitors, transistors and diodes in the pocket of thin carrier tape, and form a closed package through the matching tape or cover tape of SMD carrier tape. It is often used to protect electronic components from any pollution and damage during transportation.
