Production environment requirements of carrier tape

As an electronic packaging, carrier tape has not been tested in the production environment in China for a long time, and few people even know it. In China, it is generally believed that tape packaging materials are only used for packaging.

After passing SGS, there will be no problem. carrier tape products will change in different environments and affect packaging. Therefore, the environmental monitoring plan should be introduced into the tape packaging as soon as possible to standardize the tape production and be responsible for the packaged products.

Carrier tape is a high temperature thermoforming product. The carrier tape itself undergoes thermal shock and molding. As customers package products and then transport them to different parts of the world, the temperature difference between different parts is different, so the shrinkage and volatility of packaging materials are different at different temperatures. Therefore, the carrier belt needs to use different formulas in different environments to ensure the stability of the product and avoid customer complaints caused by packaging materials.

 

Tape production materials: PS, ABS, pet, PC, hips, PE and other plastic materials. Special requirements can be made of metal. According to the purpose of the carrier belt, it can be divided into: special carrier belt for integrated circuit, special carrier belt for transistor, special carrier belt for chip LED, special carrier belt for chip inductance, special carrier belt for integrated patch, special carrier belt for chip capacitor, special carrier belt for patch connector, etc. According to the material of carrier belt, it can be divided into PS carrier belt, ABS carrier belt, pet carrier belt, PC carrier belt, hips carrier belt, PE carrier belt, etc.

 

Antistatic is very important for carrier tape and electronic packaging. The quality of anti-static measures will directly affect the packaging effect of electronic components. For antistatic carrier and IC carrier, some additives with moisture absorption function need to be added, mainly to reduce the resistance of carrier and IC carrier tape. The antistatic agent has the functions of good moisture absorption and reducing surface resistance. The main component of antistatic agent is resin. Antistatic carrier tape and IC carrier tape will not decompose or deteriorate in the production process. The function of antistatic agent is to absorb moisture in the air, form a film, leak electrons and increase smoothness. It is very important to do a good job in anti-static carrier tape and integrated circuit carrier tape.

 

The carrier belt will encounter various problems in the production process, so they can master the speed of carrier belt production only after debugging and handling each action. It is unwise to think that increasing the speed will increase the cost in the production process, but sometimes if the machine debugging is not enough, the mold may be damaged and the carrier belt may be adversely affected. Therefore, we need to find the problems in production in time and see if it is the technical problems caused by your speed, so as to increase your production cost. If it is a carrier belt with low requirements, it is easy to control for some staff with good technical level.
