Design Essentials: the carrier tape is designed according to the provisions of the international standard EIA, and the relevant matters needing attention are as follows:
（１）       Select the control of surface characteristics: such as surface impedance, brightness, physical properties, strength, etc.
（２）       According to the size and thickness of the component, when forming the carrier, the width and thickness of the sheet are selected.
（３）       Matching matters of cover tape: such as cover tape width, sealing width, sealing position, peel force strength and aging test.
（４）       Individual and cumulative tolerances of pitch.
